Privacy Policy
This policy explains how the Movewards demonstration mobile application collects, uses, shares, protects, and retains personal information.
Effective date: July 14, 20261. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Movewards demonstration mobile application (the “App”), related support services, and the portions of movewards.com used to provide information or receive support and demonstration requests.
The App demonstrates a white-label shopping mall loyalty experience in which users may start eligible visits, earn points, complete challenges, explore participating stores, and redeem promotional rewards. Movewards is used as the name of the demonstration app and program. The demo does not represent or claim affiliation with a real shopping mall unless expressly stated.

- Information you voluntarily submit through website contact or demonstration forms, such as your name, email, phone number, organization, message, page URL, and language.
3. How we use information
- Create, authenticate, secure, and support user accounts.
- Determine whether a visit is eligible and verify continued presence within the configured demonstration area.
- Calculate and display accepted visit time, steps, distance, points, challenge progress, and visit history.
- Operate rewards, vouchers, participating-store content, and other loyalty features.
- Detect duplicate accounts, location manipulation, reward abuse, unauthorized access, and other fraudulent or unsafe activity.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, secure, test, and improve the App and related services.
- Respond to support, privacy, demonstration, legal, and security requests.
- Send service-related communications and, when permission has been granted, push notifications about account activity or App content.
4. Location, background access, and motion data
Background location is used only in connection with an active visit. You must intentionally start a visit and grant the requested permissions. Location may also be checked before a visit starts to determine eligibility.
While a visit is active, the App may continue receiving location information when it is in the background or the screen is locked. This allows the service to verify that the device remains within the configured area and to continue calculating eligible progress.
Motion and step information may be used to calculate activity and identify inconsistent or potentially fraudulent submissions. The server determines the official accepted progress shown in the App.
You may finish the visit in the App or change permissions in your device settings. Disabling background location, motion access, notifications, or battery permissions may interrupt or end an active visit.
5. Your consent and choices
The App requests permissions in context and provides an explanation before or when sensitive permissions are requested. You may decline permissions, but some core visit and reward features will not function without them.
You may manage location, motion, camera, photo, and notification permissions in your device settings. You may also contact support or delete your account as described below.
7. Retention and account deletion
Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the demonstration service, maintain security, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, and satisfy applicable legal obligations. Raw location checkpoints may be consolidated into visit summaries and removed according to operational retention practices.
You can delete your account directly in the App: Profile → Delete account → Delete my account. No website login is required.
Deletion revokes account access, invalidates active authentication, removes the profile photo, and prevents further use of points, vouchers, and visit history. Limited identifying information—including name, email address, and phone number—and transaction or security records may remain in a restricted deleted-account record when reasonably necessary to prevent repeated account abuse, enforce program rules, resolve disputes, protect security, or comply with legal requirements. Retained deleted-account information is not used for marketing.
If you cannot access the App, contact [email protected] from the email address associated with the account.
8. Security
Reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards are used to protect personal information, including encrypted network connections, password hashing, access controls, token invalidation, rate limiting, logging, and restricted administrative access. No system can guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13. Do not create an account if you are under 13. Users who have not reached the age of majority should use the App only with the permission and supervision required by applicable law.
10. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information; withdraw consent where applicable; object to certain processing; or receive information about how your data is handled. We will respond to verified requests as required by applicable law.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights provided by applicable law.
11. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the demonstration App, its features, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated, and material changes may also be communicated in the App or through another appropriate channel.
12. Contact
Questions, privacy requests, complaints, and account-deletion assistance can be sent to [email protected].
